got a club tourney there sunday and was wondering what shape the river was in after the recent rains??? think i might fish a different tourney if the river looks like chocolate milk . anybody got any info for me?

Doesnt the river always look like chocolate milk down there? Ive not heard anything yet..

It was milk chocolate for both days of our club tournament last month....there was still at least one 20lb sack a day...

Go and fish the annex or Merisach. I suppose you need it clear, 65 degrees and a cooler full of sandwiches. Just kidding. I personally like it cold wet and rainy at least thats what I've fished lately. If you want the inside info on that area IM me your email address and I'll hook you up with the 20lb club.

I was down there last week.............very muddy and very fast flow. Merisach was a mudhole and so was the annex. Did catch good limit of fish though with the largest being 5.5.......................Caught all fish out of Merisach. Lowrance units of mine kept telling me water temps of 61..................didn't beleive them though cause i was cloudy, misting rain, and cold as hell.......................Roger
