First time driving a Bullet today!

Well I've caught the speed bug. Mike Lohn (21XDC) was nice enough to let me drive his Bullet today. It was a little bit different than driving my old Stratos The best I could manage was 78 mph which was about 4 mph slower than what Mike got out of it today with a 30p Bravo. After today I have alot of respect for those of you who run big numbers. You don't just sit in these boats and go...takes some seat time for sure

Anyways, thanks again Mike, its time for me to start shopping for a faster boat

Brad.... Thanks for washing the sides of my boat, it was getting dirty as the stickers normally stay dry. Thats why I left the Bravo1 on there for you. Training wheels. I'm glad I was on the dock watching..

I wish you could have stayed longer and fished some.... It was fun playing with a dozen props I collected all winter.

My best prop today was a 29T1, 5700 @ 84.1.. 3/4 gas and a fishing load. It needs a little more steering input than the bravo1's. Stupid cross wind..

I hope to see you next weekend with your boat as I will have another 1/2 dozen props to play with...

BTW Brad... I sent you a Pay Pal invoice for the gas you burned up...

Also... You looked great sitting in my boat........ But it was the boat that made you look good.

Ya that dang cross wind seems like the last two times we went there this has happened, sucks, I could only manage 84 out of the doggone Bullet today to much correction to the steering kinda got unruly, but still had a good time #'s were with almost 3/4 tank of gas and fishing load, I guess I can live with that.

Hope to have mine back together next weekend. Waiting for my hot foot and plate from Lou. Alson waiting for wind shield wraps but this won't stop me, just the plat and HF.
Got most of the parts. Plugs, TXP 27 w/PVS holes. Need to get some PVS plugs. Any ideas where around hear?
I drove by the launch on Rosinville (?) this after noon but didn't see you guys. What launch you go out of? Soon as I get things together I'll try and hook up with you guys. ( with my small 20 footer)

I know, if it wasn't for that cross wind I may have bested your top speed

And if you think that I looked good in your Bullet you should see how I look in a Stroker or LCB

Re: First time driving a Bullet today! (mittenbass)

I sold one of the two 30Bravo1's... Not sure if I'll keep the other one or sell it.. It's wierd powerloading my boat onto the trailer with a 30P and acting like a 23P. At 5500 rpms, not sure what to do,
