Question for the single console guys

About how much and where do you add balast? In my Stroker single console it leans real bad to the driver side at around 80 and above speeds. I've tried 2 25lb bags of shot in the floor in front of the passanger seat and it helped some but not near enough. JMO I think the air going over the driver console is leaning the boat over bad. Am I right or are the single console Bullets not bad about doing this?

Re: Question for the single console guys (ep72)

I always used 100lbs of ballast. I would put it beside the driver seat where the cupholder is. I tried to get it as close to the edge of the boat as I could possibly get it. I am 6'1'' and 230lbs

If you ain't done it already Eric.....I try putting all three batteries on the passenger side. And my preference on shot bag location is the storage compartment behind the passenger seat.

No problems with my Bullet doing that I've got my rods in the passenger rod locker, the trolling motor and batteries are on that side too. I'm 5"10" 145 pounds.

Mine requires 80# on the passenger side cupholder or as close to that side as I can get it. I weight 180# and that weight is required when the rod boxes are empty.

    Re: (Bukhamr)

Thanks a lot fellas. Im 165, guess I need to just set a level across the boat and add balast till it levels out. I have seen guys put shot bags in rod lockers, rear compartments, and below/in front of passanger seat, still learning where the best placement spot is.

Eric I put mine as far back as possible, depending on which side I need it.... Outside of the batteries or the outside of the oil tank.

I don't run any extra weight, but I probably have 80 lbs. Of tackle in passenger side rod locker..
