    Anybody have an extra.....

Oil tank cap (for the reservoir in your boat), I found it online but its $27 It just a small piece of plastic with threads, I cant figure out why it would be that much. If anybody has an extra one that you dont need I'll buy it from you. Its for a Yamaha, its number 21 on this schematic

That VENTED cap may be your worst nightmare and you may find yourself lacking oil...

I know my last two merc oil tanks needed SEALED cap. The tank feeds oil on vacuum.. May want to take a look into this.. JMO

Your $21.00 saving may end up costing some thousands

Now your motor will run like a Briggs & Stratton

Yea its a Yam, went out to put it on and got to looking at it. Cleaned off the one I broke and blew in it, it only allows are to be blown out but not sucked in. So looks like Im going to have to bite the bullet and buy one, but the schematic looks like its not vented so I dont know.
