started making some changes to my trailer. I'm kind of a bling guy and I've had an idea I've been wanting to try it for sometime now, so with 18 inches of snow on the ground and more in the forecast I went for it. I built 1" lower blocks and lowered my trailer, then I added 20" wheels. I lowered the trailer so that when I added the 20" wheels the trailer frame height would stay the same. I also added some polished diamond plate to the running boards (I ordered the trailer with stainless fenders so the diamond plate looks like it belongs on the trailer). I also replaced the fender bunk carpet but before I did, I added a solid 1" spacer between the fender and the fender bunk. This added an extra inch to the factory 9" wide fender. Most of the 20" wheels have at least a 5" offset, the factory 14" trailer wheels only have about a 3.5" offset so I needed a little more fender width. I could have used spacers but I wanted to keep all of the tire under the fender rather then spacing it out and having tire hanging outside the fender.

I did alot of pre planning as far as measurements for clearances and so far it looks like everything is going to work. Need the snow to clear before I actually pull it down the road. I'll let you know how it works out.

I think it turned out pretty sweet looking, I'll post some pics as soon as I can.
