Thinking about trying a TPX OT4 or a Performance IV Bullet cut on a 21 footer
300x with 1:62 gear. Any suggestions on pitch or another brand prop?

Both the TXP and Performer props are top notch....Dont over look the bravos....I think its all gonna depend on what you want the prop to do???...Fishing or playing????

I think that that is going to be what most people will say, and I will through in a prop I like
Mercury pro et
Do they have rehab for this addiction,cause I need to go!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm thinking a 28 for fishing and a 32 for running.
28 Bravo for fishing
30 Merc Pro-ET for top end running light.

Hmmm that's strange because you told me that I should get a 30p bravo I and have mark set it up. So now is the 28p a better prop and the 30 Pro et or the 30p bravo I.![]()
<*))))))><{
T.L. You have a 300XS 6400 limiter = 30 Bravo
R.X. has a 300X 6900 limiter = 28+ Bravo

Thanks for the info guys your saving me a lot of money and leg work. You got me on the right track several years ago but now im needing to update a few things.
Does the Bravo I have to be drilled? If so where and how big? Thanks.
Yes, If it dose not have ventilation holes drilled into the barral then yes it needs to be drilled. Did you buy it new or used? Do you see any holes drilled into the barral of the prop. Usually 2 holes in between each ear found at the base of the hub. Can't miss them. Maybe someone can post a picture. i don't have one handy.
Here is what Rich is talking about, I had mine drilled 1.25" exhaust and PVS holes, I haven't ran it yet to see how it does,but from what I been told this should be a good set up. I'm running mine on a 20xd/300x 1.62 gears
