Had a long week of nothin but chasing little fisheze around the lake. Here is the short version.
I got one check which payed me back for my entry fee. That being said we had a blast.
Quite a few 3 to 5 lb fish. All were in the slotand didn't help towards the final payback.
The catfish was fun though. My fishing partner caught him on a jig. he was around 100 lbs. We didn't wiegh him. We just took photos and let him live. Found out later that the lake record was only in the 80's, world record was in the 90's. Who knew? We were pre-fishing for the tournament and didn't want to kill the fish. I am sure it would have died. It was about 20 minutes to the truck and who knows where you can find scales of that size. We couldn't put him in the live well.
