New E-TEC infomercial

I have heard both good and bad reviews about this 30 minute commercial. Personally, I thought it was professionally done and provided good information. If it had been a Mercury commercial, I would have the same thoughts. Obviously, it was biased and pro-2stroke, but it did provide knowledge and insight. Anything that educates me I appreciate. Whether I like the product or not.

I saw it! I saw it!!! It was on PAX at 4:30 PM EST today!!! It was not what I expected..>Cool infomercial...One question though in the head 2 head test, it looked to me that they (BRP) was running a 225HO and the others were running regular 225's...Did I see that right? If so that makes the test biased towards BRP...Don't get me wrong I have an E-tec 225 HO on order right now but fair is fair after all...

Yamaha ran the HPDI Vmax, which is their version of the HO for bass boats. Merc ran the Verado. Both rigs gps'd around 68mph. The E-TEC ran 70.7.

According to Bombardier, all were set up for best speed by Ranger.

HPDI equipped Ranger ran a 25P VX-Max Prop @ 5500 rpm and ran 68.0 mph (gps)
Verado equipped Ranger ran a 23P Tempest prop @ 6200 rpm and ran 68.0 mph (gps)
E-TEC equipped Ranger ran a 26P Raker II prop @ 5400 rpm and ran 70.7 mph (gps

Was the ETEC an HO? With the magnum GC??Seems the 26 should have been all over the limiter! What am I missing?
