Hi guys New to the board.

I bought a 2000 225 dfi that was sitting in storage for over a year the high press pump was locked up. so i replaced that i replaced every high pressure line on the motor. Also evey fuel line and primar bulb has been replaced on the boat

When i first fired it up it ran great at idel. I had the thoretel controls disc. and advanced the throtel to WOT and had no gain in rpms. I did this a few time then eng like broke free and I was able to rap the eng. out, and maintain Higher RPMs.

I went to the lake yesterday to test run the motor. Everything was fine at idel. when o went to WOT the RPMs would come up then start falling off to about 3000 rpms. so i would bring it back to mid T then hammer it back down and the eng would come alive and have no problems after the unless I brought it back to idle.

I was thinking it could be a throttle postion sensor.

What are yall thoughs.

Also the eng. was running alittle warm what could cause that also.
