Went and looked at the blazer for you. Here's what i see
first the good
the boat has a sound structure, nothing as far as stress cracks or blistering on the hull, carpet is not bad enough to need to be replaced right away. Dash looks good, transom looked good.
THE BAD
1) red stripe has been recleared and not very well. I see areas of air voids which means in time the clear will crack and flake. They hit the flakes when prepping it and turned the flakes silver in some areas.
2) When they did the cap the burnt thru some of the white gel in a few places and you can see the black underneath it. Lots of scratches in the white be a pretty big fix.
3)The scratches on the hull are deep around the numbers in front and would be a fairly big repair.
4) trailer is a tube type which I dont like down here as they tend to rust from the inside out. It looks ok could use paint but not bad on outside but I would be leary of a 11 yr old tube trailer that was used down here.
5) the seats you already know about
All in all the boat is worth 6500-7500 if the motor checked out when John gets back from running it. i didnt stay for that. IF YOU NEED A BOAT RIGHT NOW! But it would not be something you can make into a really nice ride without spending lots of time or money on the stuff i mentioned. If your lookin to make it a really nice ride I am like THOR keep lookin!!!!!!!!!!! But if you wantt a solid boat to fish out of with a very limited budget then atleast you know what you getting into. Hope ithis made since no time to proof read and too dam lazy to spell check but the post police might be watchin you never know.
