    h20 express mettle

somebody on here posted something about the h20 mettle reels...do you like them??

i picked up 1 today and, im not real impressed with it...it backlashes/overruns ALOT....

if i pitch with it, its fine, but casting results in an overrun every single time...

i realize its only A 50 dollar reel, but it has to be better than its acting right now...

how do you have the brakes set?? it came 3 out, 3 in... im gonna play with it a little bit...if i cant get it worked out, its going back for credit on a citica...

I never had a problem with them. Pull all the brakes out then go from there. you should be able to cast that thing a mile.

Yea they don't come set, you have to adjust the internal brakes. Solid reel for the money and I like em.

Will have to look into that on mine, not having problems, but if it makes it better, I will try it.

well i fished with it today.... then i boxed it up and brought it back...

in my opinion, its junk...too "clunky".....but, it is a 50 dollar reel....

i got my money back, im just gonna get more citicas....

$25 in the fall. It's not a real low profile but it's bad. I think it cranks better than my citicas. You know what opinions are like thought. Y'all prob never crank deep down there anyway

I've got 2 that I use for cranks and top water. Put floro on both. I really like them for the price, haven't had one issue.
