Ok now that I have my water pumping & all new gaskets (exept poppet) I am ready to tackle my running rich problem. When I removed this powerhead the oil was rediculous around the exhaust ports on the adapter plate and gasket was soaked in it. I also noticed that when I hooked it up to my hose in the drive that when I had it around 2 grand it looked like oil was coming out good through the prop hub. I put this powerhead on last year and just transfered everything from my old engine so I know I have some linkage and adjustments out of wack. But I will not take this to anyone I am determined to learn on my own how to work on these. When I blew my engine last year my local Mech. told me I needed to replace my EFI ECU. BS I new better. I took it home after he charged me 250 for diagnostic and removed my head... Looked like a woodpecker was tryin to make a den through the top of my piston. Anyone have a diagram or step by step procedure for sync and link or do I need special stuff? 97 225 efi SN# OG373786
And I have been loading up bad at idle when cold. not so much when warm I do have a few spare parts....TPS,Temp sensor,Map Sensor,intake w/ injectors, etc
