Minn Kota All Terrain Garbage! Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fella's I have some issues with a "Minn Kota All Terrain Piece of Garbage". I had the damn thing work on. I order all new part to fix. Well that was the easy part. Go to put back on the boat to bolt down. Once I bolt down to flip over the bow. I try to flip back in the boat and the frickin thing don't release. I am told that the plate is flexing. Well I tighten everything down evenly to point where the plate shouldn't flex to apply the same amount of pull on both sides of the bar. The bastard still don't release!
Anybody has any experience here? I will tow to your house so you can show me just what in the muckie muck I am doing wrong.

Thanks for the tip Doug, but I got. The remedy for my problem was quite sample. First I had to go take a ride to Gonzales to Home Depot and Cabela's. Ain't nothing the some fishing shopping rehap. I made it home to tackle the problem again. When I got the power screw driver and tighten everything up. An wouldn't you know the darn thing works like a charm!

Well it sounds like you figured it out. And before you go trashing Minn Kota you should try to work on Motor Guide. It don't matter. They are all beast to work on, but Minn Kota is above and beyond. They are pricey for the better ones, but they are worth the money.
Minn Kota is also a grass cutter.
