I was able to get out this morning. I went to Lilly Bayou at first light. I caught somewhere around 30 bass. Most were knotheads, but some actually were almost keepers. Not one biggun in the bunch. But it was a blast. All were caught on light colored super flukes with no wieght. The matted veggitation is very thick back there, and a frog or wieghtless fluke is about the only way to fish this area right now. I had to dead stick the bait to get most of the bites. They would chase it but wouldn't touch it till it started to fall.
Here are the best of the bunch

If you have some time, and want to get your line pulled, take yourself back there. It has high trees on all sides so it can be fished when the wind is blowing. It is very open, so taking kids is also an option. Just have to watch out for the duck hunters this time of the year. If they are in there before me I will turn away and go the other way.
