today in Bayou Black

started of day with a screaming 82 MPH run to fishing spot, get there and immediately catch a big perch fishing for Bass with a lizard, so my dad decides he is gonna catch perch, well 4 cast later and 4 sacalait in well i was not gonna let him have all the fun by himself. we fished until 1115 and fish were still biting when we left. we had alot of throw backs, i am sure i caught at least 200 fish today maybe more. we ended up with 50 sacalait, 13 perch, 3 bass, and a flounder. One of the sacalait had to be 2.5 lbs,thing was huge, pick below shows my size 13 shoe next to it and the flounder.

yes it was a blast! Dad saw the flounder swimming. I told him to throw in front of it, he tried and it would not touch it, so i told him to try and hook it, he tried but it went back down. few seconds later it was up again by me so i threw over it and snagged it in the tail. it was a good day. It didnt really get hot until about 830-9.
I will be fishing Friday Barry, it was the same last time we went to that canal. they were biting anywhere you threw your bait, in middle of canal, towards the sides, foot off the boat.

HAHA not bllind river, Marsh area in Gibson, same canal can catch bass , sacalait, reds, and now flounders.
