Finally got new boat out for a ride. Water temp around 45 degrees. Went through sugested warm up and ran a few miles up river and slowed down to idle speed. While at idle speed got a constant beep so i shut down engine. Cranked back up and the alarm stopped and it didn't happen the rest of the day. Any help appreciated.

Do you have a Smartcraft Instrument in your rig???? If not- it might be the best investment you ever made (it won't FIX the problem, but it sure can help to point you in the right direction)!
Water pressure when the alarm was going off? Engine temp? Oil level? Water in fuel? All of these (along with a myriad of other items) are possible causes.
The best way to find out what caused this would be to get the engine on the Computer Diagnostic System, and have the Freeze Frame (Fault) History read. Be sure to request a printout for future reference (I'm always happy to review these if you want).
