My truck is an 01 (bought used 2 yrs old), been paid off a while and hope to get 4 more years out of it. The wife's car is an 03 (again, bought used) and paid off. Unfortunately, we're probably going to be car shopping this winter. Our 16 yr old is going to be needing a car.

And did I mention we paid off the house in 10 yrs?

Amazingly, with no car, truck, boat, or house note, we STILL can't save any money.
