We caught a gar on a trot line in Verrete when I was a lil boy that weighed 92 # , I think it was 7 or 8 ft long !!!!!! That thang was freakin huge , we cleaned it with a chainsaw and a hatchet , ate gar balls for a long time to !!!!!!!

Gar going extinct. They need to come south of I-10 then they would change their mind. There was one in Temple Bay the other day that almost sprayed us from 20' away. Scared the chit out of me.
