    See.. this is what I was talking about the other day!

    I BARELY had enough room to stick a pivoting ratchet in there to get the damn poppit off, AND the hose had come off, which, if you notice, can't be seen in this pic. That's because the damn thing is straight up and down, whereas most of the ones I have seen in the bigger motors is kinda to the side a bit.

    I can tell you this... I will NEVER do this again..(until the next time my water pressure drops)

    i installed a poppit diverter on my xb and it was a beotch. I had to do some grinding and filing to get it back in but it fit. VERY SNUG

    I am assuming that the bottom cowling can't be removed ? or would the P/H have to come off ?

    4 bolts and then swing the whole ecu assy's out the way, way more room to work, not that bad do them every week, you should not have to remove the hose, just unbolt poppet cover and swing to side

    I wasnt planning on taking the hose off. It just kind of came off! And i took the ecu off, the pic was taken after i put everything back together. The pic makes it appear that there is more room than what there actually is.
