    Yep I had a BAD Day. First off, DON NOT RUN TO THE BACK OF SORREL past greensille and cross the Dow! I found out that there is a sandbar there that is about 2" deep running all the way across it! going about 50mph........ That was not there last yr! Lucky some crawfisherman came and hooked me up and got me out. If it was not for them I would have had to jump out the boat and push us out. that is how bad we were stuck! Thank god we are ok though!

    Next, I ran to the grand river flats and when we got in it the hynacithas were loaded for about 100 yrds - I could see the water on the other side and though man that is FINE! Well my dumb ass decided to go through the hynacas (spelling) and about 50yrds into it, my boat wasnt moving it got so thick. Looked at my water psi and 0! took about 30 minutes to take apart my t-stats and clean everything to get here peeing agian.

    so after that I decided we couldnt get to the flats and I said less go to the philips canal. well that 24 mile run ended up with nothing but muddy ass water

    I decided I had enough so I went home!

    I ended up fishing for about a total of 1hr and burnt 30 gallons of gas.....wasnt a good day, hope yalls was better!

    yep always hear about ppl hitting sandbars but I never had until today. Lucky we were OK, and my skeeter was too.......Good lord was with us bc I was going around 40-50 to 0 in less than a second. shot us booth out of our seats but we caught ourselves...

    Did not fish it - but I would have to agree.....If I can get one of my buddys to buff the money up I will fish it. I cant affor 250 by myself and I wanted to fish it bad too....

    It won't be your last. I can't count how many times I had to push off a bar. Many years ago I ran up on a shell dam. It put a lot of deep scratches on the pad of the boat, funny thing is it picked up the speed a couple of clicks.
