its not a powerhead issue at all with my motor, like someone mentioned a couple of days ago its the lower unit. the main shaft locked up, i had the seals changed on the prop shaft in august, well they busted again therefore no more 17 dollar per quart oil in the unit and bam a locked up sportsamaster, still cheaper than reolacing that powerhead.. i dont know of any dealers in this area that carries rebuilds for sportys is there anybody in yalls area?

I remember an ad I saw in a magazine. It is a company that sells lower units. Can't remember the name. It was initals like EIF or something. I will look and see if I can come across it. Remember the prices being cheap.
