Any boat that actualy gets up on the pad will have chine walk but with proper balance of boat and seat time you will learn how to drive it.. Notice I didn't say throught it!!

Putting the motor further back will let ya use less positive trim and get the motor higher for more stern lift which lill let the boat run flatter but with less contact surface!! This equals less slip and more speed!!
