    Fish Kill

Lake Ponchartrain is being reported to have a rather large fish kill. Mostly white trout but some specks. Also hearing some reports on the coast. The green trout should be ok. I love catching my specks, just not with a scoop net

Is this from the cold weather this past week? Or something else?

Rumor has it a skeeter delaminated out there in the rough water and when it sank it killed all the fish! Or could have been the cold weather!

This really sucks. I heard on the louisiana sportsmans radio show that they said they didnt think any of this cold weather should affect the fish. I guess they were wrong.

Maybe it really was the skeeter!

Cooney, the Hollywood canal behind the house froze over. How's that for global warming.

    Re: Fish Kill (Bada$$Bullet)

In December I was fishing in Gohegan and there were about 15 specks belly up in there. The gulls were workin on em pretty good. I couldn't figure out why anyone would let keeper trout go to waste, but now it makes sense.
