Scales and culling are a big deal

Tried a bunch, da new Berk does fine BUT I generally have this system for a T:

1...put #1 X Tools float in the p side LW (we fish solo 95% of the time)

2...put #2-5 and two #7s for very small keepers with a qt of h peroxide bottle in the D side LW along with a balance beam

3...since time is a huge issue in a T...I put a solid keeper on #1, if its a 12.5 incher or less after putting it quickly against the 20 inch tape on the deck it gets on #7

4...after #2 in the LW I dump in some h peroxide and have recir on medium

5...as the day progresses (had 15 keepers last Sat. in the Bruin T)...after a limit...just pull out a #7 or both and do a fast eye comparison...then replace the smallest #7...

6...when you finally get to the launch just use the balance beam to cull out those #7s against the smallest better fish on #2-#5.

Since I was using a buzz bait last weekend time was super factor all day...bass were only on certain cover...ended with 6 in the LW and threw back 2 pounders...a sweet day...but only 4th with 13.69 cause no "knockout fish" (4+)...

If you are a "fast bait, cover long banks" sort of guy like me half the year you will benefit from some fast way to cull and get back to casting...a minute lost is often 2 casts u will not get that day...I don't ever cull by weight unless I am having "a career day" and come in way early...opinions vary of course.

Y'all can have more than 5 fish in the boat at a time? That's a DQ in our club...

Sushii and Bigboy use the truck stop scales on the way out. Then again on the way in.
Divide the difference between the amount of fish they catch and drive away happy
