Yeah i won 250 bucks for her and placing 8th on day 2 was another 300 bucks and if we wouldnt have thrown our fish back on day one, we would have cut a check for overall as well !!!
I fished it Triton. Didn't weigh a fish the first day, had a limit the second day. Placed 34th the second day, did not make overall. Did have fun and caught a lot of fish. Congrats on the hawg!
Yeah, day one was tough for us !!! I caught the fish i was holding on top on thursday along with around 30 more hits.... We would stop at a spot, check to see what was there and move on. Checked about 9 spots and i couldnt believe the activity we were getting. We had one spot that was about 100 yards long and had 10 fish pick up the bait and some held onto it up to 15 seconds, so we just knew it was gonna be on the first morning. Went back in first thing friday morning and they would pick it up by the tail and that was it. We had to do alot of searching from that point. Saturday before i caught the second big one, i had one around 6 pounds blow up on a buzzbait right at the boat and of course i was

Day 1 was tough for me 3 keepers. Missed 4 more Chug Bugs and pepper grass don't mix well. Day 2 had a limit and got a small check couldn't get where I wanted to go. I think we were 55th overall so no overall check. I hate getting wet before daylight.

That's the truth.
The fish in the top picture was 6.40 and we caught her thursday when we were spot checking our fish. We pulled up, made three casts, got three hits and i set the hook on the third hit and caught her. Went back in there saturday and caught the 7.04 about 15 feet to the right of where i caught her..... Good spot for some big fish huh ???
