Fishing Up Above Old River....around Three Rivers?

Gents,

I was passing by the Old River Control Structure earlier this week. Water is still up but falling. I noticed a nice looking area just south of the control structure near a lock. There's a boat ramp below the lock. It appears you can run down the river and up this pretty looking area that runs parallel and dead ends at the highway. I don't know the name of the area.

Anyone ever fished in there? The water looked pretty. I guess it's where boats lock from the Miss into the Atch river.

they do catch some fish in thier but the water has to go all the way down.
