250 ProXS Third Blown Coil In Two Tournaments

Are there any updates for this aggravating problem like a permanent fix? I have started limiting my range fishing in order to get back to the ramp when these things fail. Thanks

No new news here, except that there is a new coil part number available (to replace a failed coil).

Don ! is'it any proof this "new " coil is better??

Have Mercury sorted out witch maker the bad coils came from?

or have all other makers same percent of failures??

Too soon to comment- not enough data. Certainly have high hopes!

My understanding is that all of the coils came from the same vendor... so I guess the answer to that question would be "yes".
