    PITRE WINS MAY 09


    PITRE WINS CBC

    The Concordia BC fished its May event on a high muddy 77-81 degree Lake Louis near Sicily Island. It was a very tough day that hit 88 degrees but the bass bite hit very little.
    Winner Randy Pitre of Vidalia had an 8.58 limit, 2nd was Mark Morace of Vidalia with 4 for 8.22 while Eddie 'Team Legend" Roberts took 3rd with a 7.55 limit.
    Others with fish were John "Team Go-Mart" Bruce (6.14 limit), Dennis Mulvahill (4 for 6.09), Ronnie "Team K & M Rods" Gillespie (5.53 limit), Theodore Walker (2 for 5.26, 3.91 lunker), Tim Houghton (5.15 limit), Doug "Team Kistler/Outkast Tackle/Eddie's Marine" (3 for 4.94), Ricky "Team Bryan's Marine" Gillespie (4.19 limit), Sam Morse (2 for 3.44), Trae Ladner (1 for 2.30), Clyde Morace (1 for 2.15), Mike Tillman (1 for 1.41), Daniel Tillman (1 for 1.25) and Sherry Clopton (.87). Matt Smith also fished.

    DAVIS WINS BIG ON LOUIE

    The Dixie Bass Club fished its May event on a high muddy 77-81 degree Lake Louis near Sicily Island. It was a very tough day that hit 88 degrees but the bass bite hit very little for most anglers.
    Winner Johnny Davis of Natchez dialed in the bass for a crushing win by racking an 15.18 limit plus 3.87 lunker on War Eagle spinnerbaits in the bayou area.
    Robbie Buckles of Natchez also impressed with a 12.21 limit while Randy Pitre of Vidalia had a 8.58 limit at third.

    Others with fish were Paul Foster of Natchez (8.61 limit), Nick Rushing (8.54 limit), Allen Blanton (6.84 limit), Terrell Foster (6.59), John "Team Go-Mart" Bruce (6.14 limit), Terrell Jones (5.58 limit), Alan Brumfield (5.49 limit), Justin Foster (4 for 5.15), Doug "Team Kistler/Outkast Tackle/Eddie's Marine" (3 for 4.94), Glen Foster (2 for 4.43), Henry Butler (1 for 3.29), and Buster Martinez (2 for 2.64).

    COOPER WINS ON LSJ


    The Natchez-based River City Bass Club had its May 9 tournament on windy Lake St. John. Only 9 members showed on this Mother’s Day week end. No limits and 2 zips!

    David Cooper won with 3 fish at 6.39, Corky Ables was second with 2 fish at 5.01 while Dale Jamison with 3 fish at 4.15 took third; fourth was Jimmy June with 3 fish at 4.13 lbs.

    Others with fish were Gary Waller (2 for 3.32), Carrol Huff (2.86 lunker of the day) and Ryan Marchbanks a fish at 1.31.
    Bo Strahan and Jerry Blanchard also fished.
