Wayne must be the luckiest man in fishing. He came up friday afternoon, never scouted and didnt even have a map. Drew up with a local non-boater who showed him around and finished second. But if you know Wayne he's a great guy and he deserved it.

That was the 1st time I have every been on the lake and I have to say its a heck of a place to fish. I can't wait to head back. I most have caught 20 to 25 white perch over a pound or two off spinner baits. I had seen 100 to 200 empty beds but was lucky to find 10 still on the bed. Sat. we had cloud cover that just hurt me to see them. Got to love tournament days....Oh well next stop T-bend can't wait...

This lake fished tougher this trip than any other time that I have been to it.I caught a few good fish on friday and thought that I would be ok. I pulled up at my back up spot caught a 3plus real quickand then run off by a crazy home owner with a shotgun.He fired first shot in the air the next across the water. I figured it was time to move. My non boater was reporting it to local athorities, he lives in the area.That draw down really seam to hurt this lake.
That home owner needs his ass kicked before he gets locked up.
I had two different people come out and shot there shot guns while I was scouting but the where killing snakes. I was glad one did cause I had one about 4 feet long swimming next to my boat for 20mins. Just wish I had know the other one was doing the same thing I might not have hit the deck so hard and cause my shorts to sink for the rest of the day.

Doug don't rub it in to bad. First time I ever been there. Only prefished a few hours. I used to get my tale kicked at Delacroix then things began to change.
Me too! You alright in my book BPP you just guilty by association! Course the you aint got much choice around there.
