Whats up with some of these people fishin now

First time fishing on the weekend out of Segnette (had a club turny)I've only been fishing during the week. I get to this small canal there is a boat in it but I'm going back to the pond when I get right past him he throws his hands up. Now I'm idleing about 1000rpm because he is on high on the trolling motor thinking I'm going to stop and fish where it opens up to the pond. I should have and just cared less. They sure do have people riding around in places if they only new what was under the water they would think twice. The Tank Pond used to be a dry with trees and alot of that is still under the water. You won't see me out here on the weekend again and it's only 2min from the house.


Can't wait to head to the Bend at the end of the month

Was there only one boat there, usually have 20 boats in that cut on weekends.

No there was only 1 there first thing in the morning but it didn't take long after that to get to 20. Man it is unreal how people will fish right on top of each other and they are not biting that good. The must have 15 boats fishing within 50 yards of a football field at the mouth of Cypress canal.

Are you fishing the top six tourny that weekend? If so we will be there from Tuesday until Sunday.

I'll be at the Bend from the the 29th to the 3rd


This was the first weekend I fished and I don't have a problem fishing the area but don't throw a fit when somebody passes you to go fish another spot. Where I fished I didn't have anybody within 500 yards of me. The way some poeple have been running around I know there been some suff messed up. A friend of mine knows the area and still lost a 150 opti off the back of his boat and it's still in the Tank Pond.

Just jokin,we haven`t visited the area much...but the few times i`ve been there sure is no lack of people who will pull right in front of you and drop the trolling motor or get right past you and get wide open and stir the water all up....tough place to fish right now.

I know you were somebody sees you catch a fish and they pull up on you and cut you off. It's a few years ago I had a boat set up with lights to fish Speck at the train tressles in the big lake and these people pull up and start fishing where we were at and several times casted his line in our boat and got pissed when I cut his bait off.

Fishing is to be fun and enjoyable.
