Have a 225 ProXS that gets used in saltwater a good bit. Removed the cowling the other day to see some corrosion (not bad) but also a considerable buildup of salt crystals in some locations.
I'd like to spray that salt off with some freshwater then add a little protective silicon spray, but I don't know about shooting it with the hose.
Would I be better off just taking it off with a wire brush?
As always, advice I've found on this board has saved me a ton of headaches, and is much appreciated!
