Has anyone been to Rayburn ???

Just wondering if anyone has been to Rayburn and can let me know what the fish are doing down there. I'm going into a tournament blind in a couple weeks and wont be able to get down there to do any pre-fishing. If you can be any help, please send me an instant message, so you dont have to broadcast it all over the board. Thank you in advance if you can be any help !!

"they" are wrong! It all depends on what part of the lake you are on.
I don't know the lake real well. But, I have fished there quite a few times, and know several parts of the lake that have LOTS of obstructions just beneath the surface. Be careful out there.

What Robert is right ! I have fished it for many years and love it like TB. The further north you go the higher the "pucker" factor. Right now the north is getting hot( above the 147 bridge). This will be the big bag area until it,s as cold as a whore,s heart. You better have your ducks in a row if you,re gonna try running the rivers. Take your time go to the back of the coves and have a great time. Launching out of Jackson hills or the bridge area might serve you well. Good luck Big Sam is a great lake. TBJ
