Saturday, I took my buddy and his son crabbing. We caught a bunch of crabs and at the end of the trip, we fed this alligator our chicken (crab bait). I realized it after I fed him, that he was between us and the boat. He could have had us for supper if he wanted to.

He was a calm gator. Everytime I would go to put another piece of chicken on the rocks, he would back off about 5' and just watch at me....I would walk away, and he would come grab it.

My 13 year old son pitched a jig at a 10' one and hooked it on the tail Thursday. He shook it and shook it trying to get it loose. The gator just sat there on the log while his tail shook back and forth for probably 30 seconds. Finally it had enough and left.

I thought he wanted a xxxxxxx, kind of boat. What did he do change his mind again. Sure hope he get the right motor this time. One thing for sure, as long as he's been in the big water he can pay cash for it.
