I have a Cajun 1950 F/S with a newly rebuilt Johnson Faststrike 150..

I had the builder install a new OEM "fuel only" VRO kit...which cuts out the oil injection completely.

I now mix my own oil (it was peace of mind for me)..

What it the best way to close the season on this boat?

I've heard a lot of different opinions, but I'd like to hear from someone more experienced than "my neighbor"..

So..should I:

Disconnect the fuel line and run the carbs dry?

Use stabil and ring free and keep the gas topped off?

Looking for tips, advice and opinion here..

I'd like to have a boat that fires right up next summer with no problems.

Thanks,

Globug
