1st time in 4 years that one of the kids that was fishing with me is going to Nationals.

We were short a few boats but we put 2 kids in a boat each having turns at front....I had one from each age group. Allowing both to take turns up front with me & found fish & put both of them on em........I fished 1st thing in AM but found they were on cover & liked senko's. Told Taylor to get one tighed on which he did......next thing I know he's catchin them....I put my Bass rods down rest of day & got out my Ultralight for some of them Bluegills.....I have found at times in past that with me fishing for BG's ahead of the boat that sometimes bass hear the fight & get triggered into biting..........well that wasn't the case today but it was fun Bite shut down late morning so it was tought to find more fish for last few hours.

Drey(older group) placed 3rd overall.........Taylor had to beat 3 other kids in his group.......he won by only 20 points but has oportunity to go to Nationals in Arkansas this year
