C.A.S.T for Kids event June 18th

The annual C.A.S.T. for Kids is June 18th, at Harvey County East Lake near Newton. Tom Spencer, who puts this on every year, is in need of volunteer boaters. For those of you who do not know what this is, it is an event where a boater takes out disabled or underprivalaged kids for a few hours of fishing. Most of these kids would not normally have the opportunity to go fishing. I have participated the last 2 years and can tell you it is an extremely rewarding experience. If you would like more information on this event please IM me and I will get you in touch with Tom. I know it is short notice but anyone that can help would be greatly appreciated. The more people we can get to volunteer, the more smiles we can put on some kids' faces.

You might want to check in to this. My understanding is that it will be at Harvey County East as a bank fishing event only.

Followed up with Tom on this question, he wanted to make sure everyone knew that the kids are going to be paired with boaters at Harvey County Saturday.
