We were greeted with pretty good weather for a change, overcast skies and temps in the 60s. The lake temp dropped into the low 60s and the lake rose to about 4-5 feet above normal pool.

Lot's of shorts were reported being caught with many of the bass stunted at 14 3/4".

Plastics seemed to dominate the catches and there was an even mix of largemouths and smallmouths. We did have two keepers spots weighed in. The big bass pot, a 3.65 largemouth, went to Jesse Cornell. The biggest smallmouth caught was 3.42.

My dad fished as my non boater and kicked all our asses. Its so frustrating to go down a bank and have your pops in the back of the boat just killing them and there aint nothing you can do about it but get the net. Well all I can say is he had a good guide!
