Steve, we saw zillions of beds everywhere we went.
the Kentucky's and Smallmouth's are locked on tight- one tube in the bed and they are on it. the largemouths are still skittish. They want to run like the road runner when a bait hits the bed. Should be better this week- we were there on the 18th and had 8 keepers off the beds for 13.20 but the davis boys had 20++ pounds of largemouths so they obviously weren't sight fishing.
Heard today that the huge largemouths were shoulder to shoulder on the beds up the James. Chasing flukes 10' to keep them off the beds.
I was there last weekend and Table Rock has the most beds I have seen in it in many years. I was midlake.
