    Hit in rear

Today on my way to fish for a week some girl on the cell hit me at a stop light.
It wasn't that hard dinged the prop a bit broke motor totor. The problem is that there is fluid leaking out of resevior and tilt cylinder leaks off. Anyone know the problem. I thought maybe it is just low on oil now do to forcing it down, still works just goes back down on its own, thx

If it hit hard enough it did more damage than you think. Take it to a dealer you trust, tell them what happened and call your insurance company, or the girls.
    Good Luck

+1- get it in! Bent prop shaft, damaged mounts, and internal trim system damage are all possibilities.

Thankfully everthing ok but tilt cyl o-ring, and prop. If I missed my whole week trip I would have been really mad.

+1. I've seen the same scenario {MANY} times and it's what you DON'T SEE that are the major issues. You have a difficult time finding minute fractures at all pivot points, swivel tubes, driveshaft housing, ect. Let your insurance company know what happened, they will subrogate the claim to the girls. DO NOT let the marine dealership short change you. Have them write everything short of the powerhead. An adjuster will be assigned to your case, and let them argue with the Dealer as to what should be replaced or not. It is a hi-perf rig, and you don't want a stress crack to turn a 70 mph ride into, well,...a ride. You get the picture. That's why you have insurance. :)
