I have four or five packs that I bought last year and haven't caugh a damn fish on them but that doesn't necesarily answer your question

i've been using them, and i like them... i wished the 3/16 and 1/4 oz had a bigger hook , but haven't lost any fish on them. Yet put a 3 inch Money minnow on one and catch the heck out of them big crappies

funny you mention that seems to work with another "TYPE" of bait I like to use......and for some reason......the BASS seem to liek it pretty well

The main deal I have found with the scrounger is you have to go slow or it will just spin and not wobble back and forth. Other then that I like the crap out of them. It isn't a bait to cover alot of water with IMO but definately a "I know there is a fish right there bait".

Get one of the 1/2oz with a 4/0 hook and use a zoom finesse worm, let it hit the bottom and reel back in nice n slow along the bottom I'm betting most bass haven't seen a worm move like that
