??? for European AM

I have a 2005 250 Verado. I changed the starting battery to a sears AGM today.
The boat ran fine on 11 Feb but after but after changing the battery today I started the engine and noticed the rpms jumping back and forth between 10 and 40 rpms not really noticeable on the dash but could really see it on the smart craft.

I could also hear the difference if I listened real close not really rough or missing just sounded a little off.

Is this something I should take in and get checked?

I am replacing the fuel filter tomorrow and will start it again and see if it continues. The filter was stained and looked almost ruty in color on parts of it.

Definitely get it checked. There have been a few issues with the fuel pressure regulator hose (inside the Fuel System Module) cracking or breaking... allows fuel to be "sucked" up the regulator hose directly into the intake.

This can cause a "rich" running condition at idle, and also can cause some "low rpm surging".

Updated hose is available.
