There is a local tackle store in Wichita (Tackle Depot) who stocks many of the items that you cannot find anywhere else. One of the owners is Jerry Harper and he is a really nice guy. I was in the store on Sat. (hiding from the wife so I did not have to put up any more Christmas decorations.) He told me times at the store were really tough and if things did not improve they might close up shop. This is a quality store who supports Kansas fisherman. If you are in town please stop by and get a lure or two you need or don't need! They will even special order anything you might need. Just hate to see a small shop with such quality goods go under. I shop there when I am in Wichita. It really is a nice shop. I bought my Falcons there among other items. It would be a shame to see them close up. I'm due for a family visit so I will make it a point to stop in there and pick a few items up. Thanks for the heads up!

Great people in there. I was in desparate need of some Falcon FTO bags and could not find them anywhere. They called Falcon while I was in the store and had some ordered for me. I didn't even have to pay shipping. They had them in a couple of days. Couldn't ask for anything more out of a great store. I will definetely make it in there one day this week.

Last year I was looking for a certain color in the Baby Brush Hogs and couldn't find them anywhere so I called them and they had them. I bought 4 bags from them. They were very helpful and nice.

Hey Guys, this is one of the best tackles shops you'll find. Not like some of the commercial stores when you have to deal with "kids" who don't have the experience that Jerry and Steve have. Let's support our locals instead of the chain stores.

It's really tough now days for small shops... I have a great friend who had a tackle store outside of KC very close to a lake, but it was just a case of another tackle store and bad location causing his slow demise to keep it afloat..

I will say that his shop is in a not so good location to attract a lot of fisherman, except for some bait guys who might fish the Arkansas River... I wish him the best.

If it's a good store, please give all the support you can...
