Ive been running RingFree from Yamaha in my 225 and now 250 Pro Xs since 2004 when I bought my 198 Champion from C & O. Is there a Mercury alternative to this or should I stay with what works?
Have I noticed a difference? I cant really tell 100%. I always add 1oz. per. 10gal. so I dont know any different. I can say I have never had a fuel problem.

You could use "Quickleen" (Mercury's recommended carbon removal additive).
I don't have an MSDS sheet on "Ringfree"... but my understanding is that they are used for similar purposes (unknown as to formula similarities).

Ill check it out. For the last few years since 2004 with the 225 Pro XS its been kinda like "drinking milk from a California Cow, and living in Wisconsin". I try to always stay as close to Merc as I can.
