Sure, there is! Of course, the BEST way to improve an engine's performance is to:
1. Make sure everything is in "sound" condition. Perform a leakdown test, fuel/air
pressure tests, replace the spark plugs, install clean filters, and check it on
the Computer Diagnostic System to confirm "no faults" and all sensor data is
within acceptable parameters. Correct ANY items that are NOT within normal
parameters!
2. Check your setup. I've NEVER seen any setup that couldn't be improved on
SOMEHOW. Blueprinting, prop work, (this sometimes means going back
to a "fresh out of the box prop"), height adjustment, move weight, lose
weight, etc. etc. Spend a little bit of time here... do your homework, and
more often than not, you'll see results that make you.
3. Find a good tech or setup guy in your area. You can often glean a TON of
good advise this way- even the best "do it yourselfers" sometimes overlook
the obvious (I've been guilty of it, myself).![]()

One thing that works very well on the opti's is my lightened flywheel. It will give you a better holeshot , accelleration , and depending on your setup you might gain some top end. If you are hitting the limiter I can move that up also. http://www.simonmotorsports.com
