    Save phace masks

anybody use these? I keep safety glasses in the boat for the early morning runs. I have not had any bug strikes or anything hit my face but have talked to people that have. What do you all think?

Unfortunately, my boat is too slow to use the save phace masks. I wish I had the need though.

I just bought one at BPS.. I had always just worn gogles but am hopping this will keep more rain and cold wind from hitting my face, top of the head and going down the chest. Also my grandkids think is looks cool.

I use one It works great for me. Some people like the full helmets, but they are to bulky for me. Keeps the rain off and my eyes don't water on cold mornings. I try not to be without it. That rain stings when it hits.

WillyH20 uses one, he may chime in here sometime today. I personally use a full face helmet for rain & cold weather

    Re: Save phace masks (Tagg007)

I bought one last year and really like it. I was using a motorcycle helmet before but it was too heavy. I think the older versions had a problem with fogging, but mine does not. But, my glasses fog unless I put some of that anti-fog stuff on them, then they're fine.

    I recommend it.

    Re: Save phace masks (Tagg007)

A member of our club put together a group purchase, so i invested in one. used it once in the rain, worked great. in cold weather i still use a full face helmet to keep my earss warm.

    No complaints about it

    Re: Save phace masks (Tagg007)

They had some problems that they seem to have worked through. AS a KBCFN member last year, you could get them at 20% discount I think it was. Not sure where that stands for 2008?
I bought one, seems to work fine. I did the Helmet thing for many years, problem with helmets in boats is: moisture and compartments, if the inside foam ever gets damp/wet and it is left in a compartment with out drying it out 100%. That helmet won't be bearable to wear.
Save Phace product doesn't have the foam, so moisture is not an issue.
Maybe someone you know would let you borrow one before spending?
