Youth State Qualifier

what a day, out the door at 3:30 am Headed to Marion Co.Lake,, got North of El Dorado and the light show hit... rain hit about 6:30,,, finally got them on the water at 8:45.. rain finally let up at 2 o'clock fishing was tough,, there was several small fish caught,, 16 1/2 inch was big fish... looks like Puddle Jumpers is sending the 2nd young man ( Chris Braillier ) in the 11 - 14 age group to the State Championship at Lone star Lake in 2 weeks.. Chris won the 11 -14 age group all of our young men were in striking distance of going to the big show.. just needed that 1 good bite... Congrulation to all of the Puddle Jumpers Crew and to all of the boaters that made it happen

Had a good time. This was the third time I have provided a boat for a youth tournament and it is always a good time. The rain, wind and cold was a bit of a challenge but the kids and adults did great. I did not know any fellow BBC folks were there. The Blue Ranger 461 that was there is for sale. i was helping lanuch and loading boats, one of the guys doing the cook, and running around the lake in the Blue Chevy talking pictures... next time we'll hook up for a chat... on the way home Matthew said that you was there.. one of these time were going to get a nice day

CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS!!! I was the boater fortunate enough to get the privilege of squiring you around the lake Saturday. It was a pleasure watching so young of an angler show the skill and determination on such a tough day. You are a credit to your family and to the Puddle Jumpers. That was a cold wet day. My hats off to the kids for hanging in there. My two kids fished there butts off all day with no let-up. Congrats to Chris, but that coat has got to go.

I will run it by the team, sure would be cool if we had like $1M to spend of recuriting, I'd outfit them all with Diawa Steez rods/reels, and of course team t-shirts

Just gotta join the fishing club/team. If the school doesn't have one, you just gotta get some buddies and make one up. They are starting to pop up a lot and lots of schools are running into problems with having enough guys with boats. I know of some colleges that require you to have a boat to be on the team, we don't do that here at KSU but we do have some dificulties accomidating would be non-boaters because we dont have enough boats.
