Milford Area Guys-URGENT-I really need a favor

The other sales person here at work is going to Milford this weekend. Her boat is already parked at West Rolling Hills. Her brother dropped it off last night but the guy in the booth could only take payment for one day. The operator is going to kick her off if she doesn't pay today by 6:00. Obviously, being Memorial Day, she can't get a spot anywhere else. She is scrambling to try to get off for the afternoon, drive three hours just to pay for the spot and drive three hours home. Is there anyone in the area that could stop by and pay for three days on West Rolling Hills spot A16 for her? Please let me know ASAP. She will kick in extra for your trouble. Please let me know by noon or 1:00. I will personally guarantee the funds.

It looks like they need two nights paid. It's $19/night, so $38.00 total. They will pay a $50.00 premium for your trouble. Please let me know ASAP, as they will have to know or leave by 1:00 or 2:00 to make it.

It would be a stretch for me to make by 6 after I get off work. About 40 miles each way for me. Hope you get something worked out so she doesn't have to drive that tonight. The camp hosts can be very unreasonable at times.

Update, RJ went there and they wouldn't let him pay. They said the individual must pay in person. So they are driving down, paying, and driving back, just to turn around and come back down Thursday. The camp host also threatened to fine them $75 for abandoning a campsite. Meanwhile, there are several adjacent spots with KS campers parked there for the last week, unused in that time.

Man, that SUX. I think I would drive down only to pick up the camper and not return after being treated that way.

Something isn't right. A call to whoever that person reports to is in order. Have RJ go back, get the campsite in his name for how many ever days it will be until they planned on coming down. As long as something is at the site and it is paid for, there is nothing they can do. My brother in law and I have paid for my parents sites many times by leaving something there (boat, tent, etc.) and paying the host. If they treated me that way I would fight it tooth and nail until I got to the top of the food chain. Those camp hosts over there get on little power trips and think they own the place, the guy at Cedar Point this year is terrible. Wish I could've made it over there with RJ....

Man that is a bunch of BS!!! I can't tell you how many times I would put out a tent on thursday night to ensure we had a place for Friday during a long weekend. We would set up the tent with a couple chairs, and return late friday or early saturday morning. You figure Officer Landreville would have been able to handle the situation! I am sure that the Park Nazi let him know that Milford is a State Park, and the STATE has more power than JCPD! JK In all seriousness thought it sounds like the person in charge of the area this is happening at is abusing there so called "authority". Must be a real miserable soul. I'm guessing RJ never got to deal with KDWP, I'm betting he got the pleasure of the camp host...I think RJ knows a lot of the KDWP guys out there and he could've talked them into using a little reason and common sense. Unfortunately, far too many people lack those two things anymore. I'm not even involved in this deal and it has my blood boiling.

Yeah, that guy in Cedar Point tried to charge me for a night I wasn't even there. I unloaded on him with both barrels and got it straightened out right quick, but I agree, they are being way too ticky tacky. Heck, sometimes out Wilson, you pull into a camping spot and they don't even charge you. It's gotten to the point where staying in a motel is looking pretty good anymore.
