Wanted to get some fishing in last night, but needed to get the horses' hooves trimmed first. Farrier shows up at 6:00 and we start on the first one. Something pisses him off and he rears up and comes down with one hoof planted on my head. Take off my cap and rub my head and see a little blood. Ask my wife to look at it. Tip my head forward and it is a gusher. Nice! So, we finish the horse and the other one and I drive into the urgent care center. Wait in the lobbly for an hour while little Bobby gets his scraped knee looked at and little Sue has a cough. Doesn't anyone take care of stuff like this at home anymore? Finally get in and the doc looks at it. Says it needs to be closed. I ask for stitches so I can take them out at home. He says they won't do that and needs to be stapled. Bummer. Didn't want another trip back to get them taken out. He says he will give me the staple remover to take with me. Good deal! So I get my staples in my bean and I'm finally out the door. Finally get home at 9:00. So much for fishing.
