    very weird problem 96 200 efi for Jay or anyone

    When motor is cold I crank up to go runs fine to wherever My first stop is could be 2 minutes to 6-8 minutes. To my normal spots @wot Does not matter which one after I fish a while and go to leave there motor will have a miss but will clear up and run. After that time though when crank it it doesnt want to plane out and will not run over about 3000 - 3500 rpms and bogs. Could this be high pressure fuel pump maybe. Last time i thought maybe stator because wouldnt run over 3000 rpms. I replaced stator both voltage regs and both switch boxes as well as oil tank sensor. Now thinking must be fuel related. I have already replaced fuel line from tank to motor with new bulb also. Please help thanks

    Have you checked for water in the fuel?

    yeah I have checked for water not any I have also ran that mercury dri additive to make super double sure. thanks

    Do you have a fuel pressure gauge ? Wonder if the dia. fuel pump is keeping up with the fuel demand of the electric pump at the VST tank ?When it starts acting goofy run back and pull the plug on the vapor tank and see if its low of fuel..

    I dont have a fuel pressure gauge but i do have access to one, what pressure would I check for. thanks again
