Can you believe that the big 12 is getting no respect. How can they say that K-state needs to win the big 12 tour. to get in. They have a winning record in the con. plus have 20+ wins. I am a big KU fan and I know that they are in, but they might have to win the con. tour. just to secure a 1 seed. What a load of crap!!!! The ACC and SEC and Big 10 can just kiss it. Send anyone of them teams to play Baylor at home and they will probably get beat by a big 12 bottom dweller!!!

I agree, as long as KU doesn't go one and done in the Big 12 tourney they should be a lock for a #1 seed. A&M is probably close to being worthy of a #1 and maybe should get it if they win the tourney. Our league may not have any undefeated teams but man they beat up on each other throughout the year. I will root for any Big 12 team that makes the tourney...besides KU of course.

The Big ten has 7 teams with 20+ wins and the only two are gauranteed to get into the tournament at this point are Ohio State and Wisocnsin? Talk about a conference getting no respect. You can have 20 wins but how many of those wins are against a team with a High RPI? Check this data out! Conferences with the most teams with 20 wins.
The Big East 8
The Big Ten 7
The ACC 6
The Big 12 6

There are Conference Champs that have worse records than KSU at 21-10.It would be wrong to leave out the Conference Champs wouldn't it? There are 47 Teams that have better records. Look at the other conferences and see how many other teams have a better record, and you can see how this can happen! That why Conference T's are a Good thing This is KSU's chance! It wont be the first time a team with 20 or more wins doesn't go to the Dance. It does help when you beat teams with a High RPI. Michigan State Beat Wisconsin when they were #1 in the AP . Michigan State has the exact same record as KSU and is not gauranteed to get in even after a win against the AP #1. See where Im coming from? KSU only had 2 wins against teams in the top 65 RPI ratings. Michigan State on the other hand with the same 21-10 record has beat 6 teams with an RPI of 65 or better, and they are not gauranteed to get in either! Teams with 20 or 21 wins are on the bubble. Thats why they say things like "IF KSU BEATS KU OR A$M THEY WILL GET INVITED TO THE DANCE"

Some people just dont get it. Its all about RPI and KSU has only beat two teams in the top 65 Texas and the Number 65 team Southern Cal. Good thing they put So. Cal on their schedule or they may ony have had 1 win against a top 65 team RPI wise.

Well we didn't exactly put USC on the schedule, we played them in a tournament, which we won, just to clear that up.

Anyways, check out the strength of schedule on several of the teams ahead of KSU in the coveted RPI rankings. I'd like KSU's chances against several of the teams with the stronger RPI rankings. Watch College Game Day sometime and get their opinion on RPIs...

It means they are a #1 seed in the T and they won enough games against teams with a RPI in the TOP 65. In the NCAA tournament anyone can win!! Do I think my Buckeyes will win it all? HELL NO!!!! There are teams that are lower ranked with an RPI less than their's that could and probably will beat the Buckeyes in the T. Tim my point is that there are several teams with records similar to KSU who are better than KSU( and some of the other teams that are not in the top 65) that will also be left out of the Tournament! Win Your Confrence title,or your Tournament and your in!!

According to ESPN yesterday, they said (assuming Tech Tech beats Colorado) that the K-State vs. Texas Tech will be a bubble game; whoever wins that game will lock into the NCAA tourney, and the loser will be a very big bubble team...

Well yes I'm A little biased, but who isn't. I did think that the Big 10 had more teams in that just OSU and Wis. I was sure Mich St. was in. Just was venting a little bit. Sorry if I ruffled feathers. I just love college basketball. Use to follow real close and watch hundreds of games, but you get married and have kids and priorities change.

I was just pointing out reasons why some teams are in and some are out based on the RPI deal. Michigan State should be in considering the'vey had some goood wins against tough teams, but their conf. record is only 8-8. KSU is 10-6. The difference in the two is that Michigan State has more wins against teams in the top 65 RPI wise. HEY IT'S A BETTER FORMAT THAN COLLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!
